Machine Maintenance Technician
Entech Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join a team located in Chesterfield, MI.
Hours : 4pm - 3am, 10 hour days.
Pay rate : $24 -28
Responsibilities :
Repair nail and staple guns, compressors and small press machines.
Be in call to other plants.
Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, including CNC machines, hydraulic presses, packaging equipment, etc.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.
Inspect equipment for wear and tear, identifying potential problems and recommending solutions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and equipment history.
Collaborate with other technicians and production personnel to ensure efficient operations.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Order and manage spare parts inventory.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Valid drivers license.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
2 years of experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Experience with PLC programming, welding, specific brands of machinery, etc. is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
