Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in supporting production and plant operations through a variety of hands-on tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and mobile machinery.
- Assist with plant activities such as packaging, stick laying, yard maintenance, stacking, treating, and material handling.
- Support assembly line processes by fabricating and assembling components as needed.
- Conduct routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet production standards.
- Perform daily cleanup duties including tool collection, spill/debris removal, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Perform Fire Watch duties and assist maintenance teams as required.
- Follow all environmental and safety procedures; report any unsafe or non-compliant activities.
- Attend all required training sessions and safety meetings.
- Climb to heights up to 100 feet when necessary.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, humidity).
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, tractors, or other mobile equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn.

Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.58 - $17.63 per hour
