About Us
We are seeking a Maintainence Technician to join our team and ensure our equipment and facility meet the highest cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment by inspecting, operating, and testing machinery to diagnose mechanical issues.
- Dismantle and rebuild machinery, equipment, and field devices as part of sanitation and maintenance processes.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, including inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters.
- Utilize prints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assist in the repair of machines, equipment, or facility structures using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
- Learn to maintain and troubleshoot relay logic systems, including contactors, starters, sensors, HMIs, and interlock safety devices.
- Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Complete and document work orders and daily maintenance reports in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with plant management and other departments regarding maintenance needs and sanitation concerns.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company regulations regarding safety, sanitation, and food quality.
- Participate in ongoing training to develop multi-craft maintenance skills.
- Support company-wide safety, sanitation, and food quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in equipment maintenance, sanitation, or a related role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machinery operation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments safely and effectively.
- Willingness to learn and train in relay logic and control field devices.
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality standards.
- Ability to work in various environments, including hot and cold conditions, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
