Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing materials and inventory efficiently, supporting the production process, and maintaining organized storage areas to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently receive, store, and distribute materials within the manufacturing facility.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport items between storage and production areas.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products and materials for shipment according to company standards.
- Perform inventory checks, maintain accurate records, and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, verifying contents and condition of materials.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to company safety protocols and guidelines.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Prior experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds regularly).
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
