Job Overview:
The Rework Operator is responsible for reprocessing product packages that require adjustments, corrections, or repackaging.
Essential Functions:

- Reprocess damaged or incorrectly packaged products to meet quality standards.
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper functionality during rework tasks.
- Scan and verify product labels (LPN) to confirm accuracy before repackaging.
- Perform quality checks to identify and correct issues in packaging, sealing, or labeling.
- Record detailed reports on rework activities, quantities, and any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Process Leader regarding rework progress and issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures during rework operations.
- Contribute to 5S initiatives by maintaining order and efficiency in the work area.
- Perform other rework-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Detail Orientation: Ability to identify packaging defects and correct them with precision.

Communication: Effectively communicate issues, progress, and suggestions with team members and leadership.

Skills & Abilities:Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience: At least six (6) months of experience in rework, manufacturing, or packaging environments preferred.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with rework processes and packaging machinery is highly advantageous.
Mathematics: Ability to perform basic math operations for counting and reporting.
Certificates & Licenses: Machinery operation certifications are a plus.
Work Environment: This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Tasks may involve standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions. Protective equipment and adherence to safety standards are required at all times.
