Job Description
We're hiring reliable and dedicated individuals for Soil Production roles at Shelbyville Laundry. This position involves sorting dirty linens on a conveyor belt and placing them into appropriate containers. Please note: This role involves working with heavily soiled laundry and can have strong, unpleasant odors. Protective equipment will be provided.

Hours:
- Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, four days per week (10-hour shifts)
- Availability required Monday through Saturday; off days determined after hiring based on staffing needs
- Potential for overtime as needed
Responsibilities:
- Sort soiled linen from a moving conveyor belt into correct containers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
- Adhere to safety guidelines and production standards
- Be punctual and maintain excellent attendance
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse team
Requirements:
- Comfortable working in an environment with strong, unpleasant odors from soiled laundry
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
- Mandatory commitment to working Saturdays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Cell phone use prohibited on the production floor (allowed during breaks only)
