Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Lead Assembler will ensure the company's products are manufactured in an efficient manner and that they meet the company's quality and quantity goals.
About the Role:
- Monitor and motivate assemblers onsite during production activities to ensure adherence to production quality while maintaining high production standards.
- Communicate and lead team meetings on production related activities with assemblers, assign assemblers to production tasks, and help mentor and develop team members.
- Complete all paperwork and requirements related to work order processes, including lot history records (LHR).
- Manage material supermarkets/inventory and ensure that work materials are present when needed.
- Communicate daily with Manufacturing Supervisor, production leads and others on daily line performance and in a timely manner when production issues arise to ensure impact to production is minimized.
- Help manage overtime scheduling, assist in training on operations based on documented procedures and maintain training records for production area.
- 2 years of manufacturing experience with high school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated ability to communicate problems or issues clearly and concisely verbally and in writing in English
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions and policies in English
- Basic computer skills including MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cleanroom experience in medical devices or other regulated industries
- Knowledge of good documentation practices, GMP, CGMP a plus
