Who We’re Looking For
As a key member of the Supply Chain Team, the Warehouse Associate performs duties related to receiving and shipping merchandise.
About The Role
- Accurately and quickly pick, pack and ship customer orders, paying close attention to packing shipments properly to avoid damage during transport.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, perform the unpacking of deliveries, and distribute contents to the right warehouse location.
- Maintain accurate records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the warehouse and track shipments as needed.
- Deliver supplies, materials, and equipment to other departments as necessary and lift and move heavy items/packages as required assisting other departments.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and reconciliation and monitor and highlight any low inventory items & communicate low level stock items to purchasing.
- Maintain warehouse, ensuring it is in good order, and stock all necessary shipping labels, equipment, materials, and supplies; Ensure the rotation of product by expiration dates.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and be capable of walking or standing for long periods of time.
- Safely operate pallet jack and straddle lift (certification needed).
- Accuracy and attention to detail, performing all duties according to SOP.
- Ability to communicate and work as a team.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP/ERP software preferred.
