Labrie in Lafayette, GA has an opening for 1st shift Forklift Operator in our Materials Department. This position will pay of $16.00 per hour. If you feel you have the skillset we are seeking to fill this position you are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse
- Safely load and unload using a forklift or other equipment
- Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while operating the forklift
- Use a pallet jack or other equipment to transport materials as needed
- Assist with order picking and packing as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Valid certification to operate a forklift
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory management
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
