Job Overview
Labsphere, Inc. is a leading provider of custom optical systems and solutions. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and development of our custom product portfolio.
In this role, you will manage project workflow management within engineering, including system design, review, and release to manufacturing, as well as product performance and validation testing for unique optical systems.
- You will be responsible for coordinating project workflows, scheduling resources, planning, and tracking all engineering efforts during the design phase.
- Facilitate design reviews and ensure intra- and inter-departmental collaboration.
- Interface with engineering leadership, engineers, vendors, sales/customers, and internal production teams to ensure design, build, and test requirements and execution plans are understood and achieved.
- End-to-end project oversight to ensure on-schedule and on-budget execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, management, or equivalent.
- 2 years of technical project management experience within the manufacturing sector.
- Experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams tasked with solving technical problems.
- Able to balance attention to detail with strategic thinking, risk management, and decision-making.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
