We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist (Floater) with at least one year of experience to join our growing CAP Accredited company. For this position you will be traveling to provide coverage to offices and handling the collection of laboratory specimens for age groups ranging from Pediatric to Geriatric. Every day you will demonstrate your strong customer service skills and commitment to a great experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, label, and process specimens accurately to ensure quality control when collections are performed
- Follow the procedure for specimen collection: Venipuncture, Capillary sticks (utilize heel-warmers), Urinalysis, Throat Cultures & Strep, Glucose Tolerances, and First Aid
- Computer proficiency for data entry and data accuracy (Life Points)
- Demonstrate good communication skills in instructing patients on special collections
- Interact courteously and tactfully with the patient
- Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Completion of a Phlebotomy or Medical Office Assistant course
- At least one year of experience is preferred
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- High school diploma or equivalent required
