JOB DESCRIPTION – Laboratory Manager (4716)
Location : Williston, ND area
Position Summary :
The Laboratory Manager is responsible for all day-to-day laboratory operations and management of personnel.
Essential Functions :
- Manage Laboratory personnel and oversee administrative tasks
- Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities for Regional Analytical Lab Chemists and Technicians.
- Manage key performance metrics for the lab, including accuracy, safety, turnaround time, and efficiency.
- Ensure consistent and objective analysis within the laboratory.
- Procure and manage inventory of laboratory supplies to support ongoing operations.
- Maintain and coordinate maintenance schedules for laboratory equipment to uphold reliability and accuracy standards.
- Document and uphold quality control measures and data integrity checks within the lab.
- Collaborate with Regional Operations teams to address data requirements and support operational needs.
- Develop, oversee, and optimize laboratory budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Document training records and facilitate cross-training initiatives among lab personnel.
- Monitor workflow processes and adjust staffing or redistribute tasks as necessary to optimize efficiency.
