QC Lab Technician (4705)
Location: Baytown, Tx
Position Summary:
The QC Lab Technician is responsible for analyzing routine samples in a production environment.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver accurate and timely results for analytical testing
- Participate on projects and with various teams for optimal laboratory performance and compliance
- Utilize various analytical instruments for sample analysis including but not limited to: GC, LC, Raman Spectroscopy, and IR
- Setting up and maintaining Lab instruments and LIMS is a plus
- Utilize LIMS system for data entry and reporting
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Perform data analysis and review, control charting, report generation, and presentation of data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry or similar
- 3-5 years full-time industrial lab experience required
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task effectively
- Strong organization skills required
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Must be self-motivated
Type of Assignment:
- Temp-Hire
Shift Schedule:
- Rotating DuPont Schedule
Salary:
$25/hr dependent on experience and qualifications.
