Associate Director, SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C)

Summary

The Associate Director, IT SAP Order to Cash (OTC) will play a key leadership role in shaping IT strategies to support the Customer Service and Billing functions. This position focuses on improving sales order processing through invoicing and reports to the Director of IT. The successful candidate will partner with business teams to create a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with business goals. The role will also oversee initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth, while optimizing existing systems. The Associate Director will lead a team in expanding the use of SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI apps, and related systems, from customer data management to invoicing. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and leadership to align solutions with business goals for Customer Service and Order Processing.
• Develop strong relationships with business partners to improve satisfaction with IT services and ensure proactive support.
• Maintain IT roadmaps for Order Management, Master Data, Billing, and Analytics.
• Lead the implementation and support of key technologies within Order to Cash systems.
• Drive the adoption of SAP S/4 HANA cloud solutions to maximize business value.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of system development and project management.
• Mentor and develop IT staff through clear expectations and performance reviews.
• Guide Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technology Leaders on best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives and subject matter experts.
• Manage the IT budget, plan for future needs, and ensure cost-efficient operations.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA OTC, FIORI apps, and eCommerce solutions preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud 2022 (or higher) and knowledge of FIORI, Computer System Validation, and IT Change Controls is a plus.
• Collaborative team player, able to work across multiple functions in a dynamic environment.
• Background in life sciences preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with 7 years of experience in progressively responsible roles.
