Responsibilities
- Analyze Finance and Controlling business processes and provide system solutions; document and validate requirements.
- Map business requirements and processes, and develop modifications to meet needs.
- Assist with operations, including end-user support, troubleshooting, and SAP FICO module configuration.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
- Suggest business process or system improvements proactively.
- Serve as a liaison between business functions and the technical team.
- Assess how emerging SAP technologies align with business needs and communicate value to IT management.
- Work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. May mentor business partners with ad-hoc training.
- Maintain SAP/WRICEF functional documentation.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression tests and document results.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and corporate objectives.
- 7 years of experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and support projects.
- 7 years of experience with designing and configuring SAP FICO modules and SAC applications.
- Strong knowledge of Finance processes and S4 HANA FICO (AP, AR, GL, PCA, Fixed Assets, Project Systems, SAC, Group Reporting, VIM, and Master Data).
- Solid understanding of integration with MM, SD, PP, and cross-functional business processes.
- Strong understanding of business processes from a customer’s perspective.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Results-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Experience leading SAP teams and developing architecture standards and data models.
- Familiarity with the Life Sciences Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process is a plus.
- Experience with testing, deployment, and release management.
- Knowledge of SOX and GAAP regulations.
