About the Company
Labviva is on a mission to accelerate the pace of life science research. We connect researchers with suppliers of reagents, chemicals and instrumentation in an intuitive user-friendly platform that supports the priorities of scientists while staying compliant with purchasing rules.
We are a venture-funded start-up that acknowledges that the unique contributions of each team member drive our success. We commit to creating a diverse and inclusive workspace where people can make a positive impact. At Labviva, we invest in our employees and strongly believe that a culture of respect and support drives success for all involved.

As we scale, we are looking for a Product Manager with a strong scientific background to develop innovative tools that help researchers efficiently find, evaluate, and acquire the right materials to advance their work. If you have a passion for both science and technology, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of life sciences R&D.
In this role, you will lead the development of scientific search, browse, comparison, and selection tools within the Labviva platform. Your work will ensure that researchers can efficiently discover the right reagents, instruments, and consumables by leveraging advanced search technologies, structured ontologies, and an understanding of scientific workflows.
This role requires deep domain expertise in life sciences disciplines (such as chemistry, biochemistry, or molecular biology) and a strong grasp of the R&D process to bridge the gap between scientific needs and technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and subject matter experts to refine our search algorithms, metadata structures, and taxonomy.

-
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to search relevance, user engagement, and conversion.
-
Work cross-functionally with suppliers, operations, and marketing to improve product discoverability and selection.
What You Bring to the Team
-
Degree in a life sciences discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields). MS or PhD a plus.
-
