Summary/Objective: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing relationships with potential clients and maintaining positive relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Primary Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Identify and cultivate potential clients through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate clients on the features and benefits of our products.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Gather client feedback to enhance product offerings and improve customer service.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is a sedentary role; however, filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and twisting, reaching, bending, or extended standing, as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional, evening and weekend hours may be required as job duties demand.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend trade shows.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
