Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to guarantee that work meets industry standards and project requirements.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and ProCore for project tracking and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and other technical documents to guide the team effectively.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and reported accurately.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction site operations.
Skills
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to construction projects.
- Experience with construction management software including Prolog, ProCore, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation and compliance within the construction industry.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply them on-site.
- Knowledge of quality control processes specific to construction projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical work assessments is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
