Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality resident care and support within various medical settings. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to enhancing the well-being of residents through effective medication assistance and care.
Duties
- Pass medications throughout shift to residents as directed by the clinical software.
- Provide direct assistance with daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Assist in memory care and hospice care, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients in sensitive situations.
- Support home community care initiatives by delivering compassionate service to seniors and individuals requiring home care.
- Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient interactions and treatment plans effectively.
- Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and respond promptly to any emergencies or urgent needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in resident care, home care, or senior care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality.
- Familiarity with hospice or memory care practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
