What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plating Utility 3-11pm shift position at Laclede Chain Manufacturing?

Position Summary: To begin learning Laclede standards of quality for product produced at Laclede. This is an introductory training position where you will begin learning the Process of plating chain, chemical testing and waste treatment.
Focus: Plating
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Has a good understanding of how to operate the plating line and the chemicals involved in the process.
- Always wears the proper PPE for assigned task.
- Read and understand the plating list and oral instructions from the Scheduling office/ Supervisor.
- Reads Job Traveler or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be Plated.
- Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Identifies chain using 9-digit part number on the production move tickets and the grade stamp on the chain.
- Plates chain at the proper speed to ensure quality of chain.
- Fills out the production move ticket and enters it into Epicor using the MES station
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
