We are looking for multiple, Full-Time & Part-Time Packaging Associates for our Packaging and Assembly Department. As a Packaging Associates, you will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and be part of a team responsible for preparing our products for distribution. Our packaging team with our Packaging Manager and Leads and the Production Manager to ensure that product batches are packaging by established deadline, that products are packaging according to company SOP’s and GMP guidelines and that complete batches are sent to the warehouse for distribution.
SHIFT HOURS: PLEASE NOTE
There are two Full Time shifts:
Monday to Friday 4:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
There is one Part Time shift:
Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Packing full size and sample size personal hygiene and oral health care products.
- Selecting the correct product components to assemble products accurately.
- Collating products, making up boxes, filling boxes, packing up boxes and packaging up pallets of product.
- Double check that all finished products are correct and in line with company QC/QA processes and department’s own double-checking methods.
- Be responsible for increasing operational efficiency and reducing waste through ownership, teamwork, communication and collaboration.
- Meet productivity levels as set by the Department Manager under the direction of the Production Manager.
- Keep production/packaging areas in compliance with FDA, GMP and Laclede’s SOP standards.
- Documenting inventory usage in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- Complying with hygiene, safety and PPE requirements.
- Performing additional duties as assigned and deemed necessary by Production Management.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous experience working in product packaging and assembly helpful but not required.
- The ability to work well with others and in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with various work assignments.
- The ability to follow precise directions and to maintain strict attention to detail.
- Be able to operate, work and complete assignments under GMP /SOP guidelines.
- Be able to regularly weights exceeding 35 pounds.
- To be able stand, bend and conduct repetitive movements during your work shift.
Compensation for Full Time Unless Otherwise Specified: (Benefits start after 90 days)
