Summary

We are seeking an experienced and creative Training and Process Documentation Specialist to join our team. This position is critical to ensuring our employees have the documented processes and the training they need to succeed, while also enhancing operational efficiency through well-documented processes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

1. Process Development and Documentation : Working closely with our manufacturing engineer and cross-functional teams :

  • Collaborate to understand and analyze workflows, procedures, and requirements.
  • Partner with leadership and department heads to identify training and process improvement needs.
  • Create clear, concise, and visually appealing process documentation, including flowcharts and guides.
  • Regularly review and update process documents to reflect changes in operations, technology, and industry standards
  • Act as liaison between teams to ensure alignment and consistency across processes.

2. Training Design and Delivery :

  • With the assistance of our managers, develop training and materials tailored to employee roles and company objectives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback and outcomes.
  • 3. LMS Management :

  • Maintain the organization's learning management system (Paylocity) by creating, uploading, and organizing training materials, tracking employee progress, and generating reports on training effectiveness.
  • Maintain a centralized database of process documentation and training, ensuring that it is updated and accurate.
  • Skills Required :

  • Ability to take complex information and put it into user-friendly documentation and training materials.
  • Ability to write processes and procedures that contain technical content.
  • Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, MS Visio, LMS platforms (Paylocity), and process mapping software.
  • Communication skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster and maintain profession relationships.
  • Self-Management : Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of training content and LMS functionality.
  • Education & Experience :

  • Education : High School diploma with some college level coursework, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in training design, process documentation, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with and experience working in manufacturing environments.
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay : $60,000 -$64,000 per year depending on experience.
  • Shift : Monday through Friday regular business hours with some flexibility in your start and stop times. As well as the ability to participate in our 9 / 80 work schedule which gives you every other Friday off.
