What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCIENCE TEACHER position at Lacordaire Academy?
Lacordaire Academy, a Catholic independent PreK to 12 school, is currently seeking a full-time Science instructor for the 2025-2026 school year for our Middle and Upper School, grades 5-12.

Qualifications:
- State Department of Education Certification (preferred, not required)
- Degree in a science related field and a strong scientific background
- Experience and passion for working with students of varying age ranges
- Ability to effectively teach a variety of courses, incorporate critical thinking and problem solving strategies, and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Knowledge and application of best practices in instruction and classroom management
- Experience in a classroom setting as a teacher preferred
