Director of Operations- Janitorial
JOB LOCATION:
Headquarters in the Main Office or District office. Locations and times of work will vary by need in all locations. The position will require regular off shift inspection and management as well as travel to out of state site locations as required.
DUTIES:
The Director of Operations is responsible for directing all LACOSTA activities within his or her geographic area in accordance with LACOSTA policies and procedures. These include:
Operations Growth and Development:
1. Ensures that the work identified in the specifications is performed properly, on time, safely, with high quality levels and within the budget.
2. Drives to achieve complete customer satisfaction and retention
3. Ensures customer requests/complaints are responded to and corrected daily-all tracked and analyzed for root preventative measures/counter measures and retraining of personnel
4. Insures a schedule and plan is in place for all additional, periodic and project work coordinating with the District and Operations Manager
5. Drives the highest level of efficiency focusing on lean process/procedure, standardized methods and clear written and visual procedures at every location
6. Insures each new employee and manager receives proper orientation and regular training to insure their performance
7. Drives Service Line Growth including Specialty Services Sales, Warehouse/Operations Sales and Additional Project Sales
8. Customer Relations Activities
9. Manages all new business start ups for all services
10. Maintains all costs direct and indirect within budgeted parameters
The Director of Operations is responsible for all LACOSTA operations, staff development/training and administrative activities- within his or her assigned geographic area
The Director of Operations interfaces with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction with our work, account growth/retention and overall performance by our organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience as a senior leader or comparable position in a contract cleaning or service-oriented organization similar to LACOSTA. Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM) or Executive.
2. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
