COME JOIN THE LACOSTA TEAM! LACOSTA is looking for a Floor Technician to join our team in Geismar LA!

We conduct a background check and drug testing

Job Skills / Requirements

Job Schedule : Monday-Friday, 40hrs / week (Full Time)

1st Shift : 7 : 00AM –3 : 30PM

Pay Rate : Paid weekly (every Friday)

17 / hr

Job Duties : Maintaining an outstanding appearance to all floors (hard wood and carpet) throughout the facility

Floor CareStrippingBuffingWaxingSweeping / MoppingCarpet spot removal

Use of machines and hand tools

Need to be able to lift and move very heavy floor equipment

Requirements :

Must have at least 4-6 years of stripping and waxing floors. Carpet cleaning experience is a plus.

Must be knowledgeable of all floor care aspects to the point of being able to train someone else.

Pass background check and drug screening

Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, as well as safe use of cleaning chemicals.

Must be comfortable wearing PPE : LACOSTA shirt, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and long pants.

Must remove all jewelry and accessories.
