Job Schedule : Rotating 12-hour shifts with periodic flexing of schedule to meet business needs, including but may not limited to the need to cover a rotating shift when a counterpart is out.
Day Shift : 7AM-7 : 30PMSchedule rotation follows 2 days on (2 days off)- 3 days on (2 days off)- 2 days on (3 days off) patternPay Rate : $20 / hr
Paid weekly (every Friday)
Purpose :
This position is accountable for the day-to-day activities in Customer Service Administrator role to achieve the mill objectives.
Additionally, the Day Shift position will work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Trainer for the Distribution Admin Team.
Customers : The manufacturing teams, Staff Distribution / Deployment, Staff Customer Service, Corporate Transportation, Staff Planning, Sales, Distributor Customers both internal and external.
This position reports to the Logistics Leader.
Qualifications / Education / Experience Required :
Prior experience in a similar role with the ability to balance multiple, shifting priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment is preferred.Education – an advanced degree is not required but will be taken into consideration when evaluating qualified candidates.Prior working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Trailer Management and Plant Apps is preferred.Self-motivated, self-directed individual with exceptional organizational skills is required.Ability to train and interface with other Admin, Technicians and Day Resources.Ability to participate as part of the Loudon Mill High Performance Work System.Ability to lead task teams and interface with all areas of the mill.Must be Continuous Improvement focused with ability to originate action to improve existing conditions and processes.Candidate cannot currently be on a Performance Improvement Plan or have active attendance violations (Written Warning or above)Principal Accountabilities :
Accountabilities include but are not limited to :
Demonstrate safety as a value by performing all responsibilities in a safe manner. Contribute to the safety and well-being of all personnel by actively supporting and participating in mill safety initiativesManage on-site and off-site raw materials, finishing supplies, and / or finished goods including tracking, reconciling, and reportingGenerate daily flow plan of finished goods using SAPReview and manage trailer pool to target daily, both at the mill and the outside warehousesUse Trailer Management to coordinate RF / RM / Broke / and Virgin transportation activitiesUse PIMS to monitor assets production rates to adjust orders as neededUse SAP Outbound Shipping Monitor to schedule the loading of customer orders and stock transfersCoach 3rd party contractors in their day-to-day work, addressing safety issues that ariseUnderstand all material flow work and can coach 3rd party contractors in internal control procedures, loading requirements, and how to use dock locks etc.Manage the driver windowEnsure all incoming vitals are received in SAP in a timely mannerPrioritize the unloading of vitals to limit trailer detentionEnsure the stores after hours receiving process is followedSupport the mill in off shifts to get vitals or parts into the mill (for example : opens an outside warehouse)Use PIMS to monitor assets production; Adjust pick up time with carriers as neededRun load ahead report to ensure there are loads available for loadingCoordinate the loading of TM3 and TM4 parent rolls to match paper machine schedule (for example : exports and Convermat)Communicate any shipping issues with Central TransportationWork with Staff Customer Service to ensure all orders are completed in a timely manner and correctlyAs needed, the incumbent may be asked to contribute in other Material Flow functionsTraining and coaching new hiresUnloading LTL shipments Requirements :Pass background check and drug screeningComply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, as well as safe use of cleaning chemicals.Must be comfortable wearing PPE : LACOSTA shirt, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and long pants.Must remove all jewelry and accessories.LACOSTA’s mission is to make our customers’ environments clean, healthy, safe and efficient.
