Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Inbound Transportation Analyst, who represents the core values and traits of Lacoste. The Sr. Inbound Transportation Analyst is responsible for the management of all inbound international shipments from APAC, MENA, Europe, and the Americas into the United States and Canada. Additionally, they will be accountable for formulating strategies, implementing processes, improving performance, and procuring resources.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Lacoste operations team in day-to-day inbound of all shipments including managing bookings, capacity utilization, cost analysis, and tracking.
- Develop KPI’s with our service providers to have meaningful MBR/QBR discussions
- Identify and implement inbound process improvement opportunities and strategies
- Identify and manage mode cost optimization opportunities and contingencies
- Develop and maintain strong communication processes across departments to ensure timely and efficient flow of information
- Collaborate with key leaders to design and manage US/Canada transportation
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation required
- Comprehensive understanding of inbound operations and global logistics
- Experience with carrier management and operational improvements
- Ability to deliver results by building, coaching, and developing strong teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present in front of large groups and key stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to work cross functionally and cross culturally between departments, external providers, and remote teams
- Excellent organizational skills (planning, scheduling, and budgeting)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, and Word)
- Excellent data analytics and visualization skills
- ERP, TMS, and/or OMS experience a plus
- College degree preferred.
