Vice President of Retail

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Vice President, Retail will lead and oversee all aspects of our Boutique and Outlet business in the United States. This role will focus on driving growth and profitability in line with our overall business strategy and responsible for managing a high-performing team across the country. This position will oversee a team of 8 with a combination of 5 Regional Directors and Regional Managers reporting directly to the VP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and lead the Retail Strategy for the United States to drive sales and profitability while continuously assessing Lacoste’s US footprint to capitalize on market growth opportunities.
• Enhance Lacoste’s brand positioning in the NORCAM market, in line with the growth strategy for achieving sales goals, resulting in financial growth and increased profitability of the overall retail channel.
• Monitor and analyze business results, provide feedback and recommendations to the Executive team as well as to global partners.
• Possess a strong understanding of the US retail market and remain current on retail and market trends and the competition.
• Provide updates on key metrics at quarterly and monthly business review meetings and provide input on line architecture needs by account and geography
• Identify and implement new growth opportunities within the channel
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Merchandising and Product/buying teams to develop and implement sales strategies, correct product assortment to increase Retail main KPIs and execute the strategy
• Partner with Digital and IT teams to provide a seamless experience in-stores and online.
• Manage the P&L of the entire channel and work closely with Finance team and with HR team for overall People Cost, People issues, Staffing and Training.
• Develop, coach, and inspire the Regionals and Market Leaders to hold their teams accountable to their performance and to deliver consistent experience to the customer in line with brand within all stores.
