From your PASSION to ours
The Associate Whey Manager will support the Whey Manager in overseeing the production, quality, and efficiency of whey processing and operations at our facility. The role will assist in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. This position plays a key role in optimizing processes, managing the whey team, and ensuring whey production goals are met to support overall plant performance.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist the Whey Manager in overseeing the daily operations of whey production, including processing, drying, and packaging activities
- Monitor production schedules to ensure whey processing meets quality standards, timelines, and efficiency targets.
- Support process improvements to maximize yields, minimize losses, and increase overall plant efficiency.
- Supervise and coach production teams, ensuring proper training, performance management, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Work closely with quality assurance to ensure all whey products meet company specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues, minimize downtime, and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to whey production, identifying opportunities for improvement and reporting results to leadership.
- Provide data analysis, reports, and recommendations to the Whey Manager to support decision-making.
Requirements
From your STORY to ours
Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Dairy Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in food or dairy manufacturing, with exposure to whey processing preferred.
- 3 years of experience in leadership positions with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop teams.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
