Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
The Assistant Laboratory Manager will be evaluated based on their ability to:
- Meet laboratory productivity targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and department policies.
- Reduce holds and complaints through collaboration with production and quality areas.
- Investigate out-of-spec microbiological results from equipment and product.
- Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in a plant laboratory preferably in the dairy industry.
- Strong basic laboratory skills (Chemistry and Microbiology).
- Strong Mathematics knowledge including stoichiometry and statistics.
- Effective and proficient communicator, both written and verbal.
- Business acumen includes problem-solving and analysis.
