We are currently seeking a Food Safety Compliance Specialist to join our team in Walton, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Food Safety Team, scheduling review meetings and following up on actions needed to maintain the HACCP program.
Main Responsibilities:
- Co-Leads all internal and external auditing activities and follow-up actions. Assures the plant maintains compliance with external standards such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and customer standards.
- Member of the Change Control Board and co-leads when required. Manages requests that impact the HACCP System.
Requirements:
- GFSI (FSSC 22000 preferred), FDA, USDA, NYS regulations knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to manage time through efficient planning and organizing of daily work.
