Turbine Pump Technician
Lad Irrigation is an Irrigation Company in Eastern Washington that began in 1957 with three employees installing and serving agricultural irrigation systems in the Moses Lake region. The company met success and was incorporated in 1967. Headquartered in Moses Lake, WA with branch offices in Pasco, Othello, George, Sunnyside, Basin City, Royal City, and Yakima WA. Lad has steadily grown to service the entire Columbia Basin in Eastern Washington with over 100 employees. We are now an employee-owned company offering profit sharing to our employees with broad development and advancement opportunities. We have a strong focus on pump and industrial repair in our Pasco and Moses Lake Pump and Machine Shops.
We are currently looking for a Turbine Pump Technicianto join our team in Pasco WA. The position will involve working closely with our machinists to tear down and repair turbine pumps. We are looking for an internally driven individual with pump and mechanic experience with a drive for growth and development in their career.

Compensation is bi-weekly salary based on experience
Responsibilities:
· Work within a team to accomplish goals in a safe and efficient process.
· Disassemble, repair, and reassemble turbine pumps.
· Assist with repair of other pumps, such as centrifugal, submersible, and split case, as needed.
· Proven ability to operate general shop equipment including grinders, welders, Plasma cutter, Hydraulic Press, sanders, power tools and other equipment and tools.
· Perform accurate and detailed measurements with measuring tape, calipers, gauges and micrometers.
· Maintain a clean and organized working space.
· Ability to work in a fast pace environment and balance a large work flow.
Job Requirements:
· 2 years’ experience diagnosing and repairing pumps preferred.
· Understanding of farming, agribusiness, irrigation and processing equipment is a plus.
· Basic mechanical knowledge of irrigation and mechanical equipment.
· Ability to work overtime when needed to complete job requirements.
Maintain current driver’s license and clean driving record at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
