Job Summary
The housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring that our clients, caregivers, and visitors experience a clean and safe environment. Their responsibilities, typically include cleaning and organizing tasks within residential facilities, are vital to our operations. The employee is expected to deliver excellent customer service to all assigned clients, further enhancing the quality of our services. This position requires approximately 12 work hours per week in Dousman, WI.
Essential Duties
- Maintain overall cleanliness of Dousman living units, schools, and administrative areas.
- Ensure the sanitation of the agency bathroom facilities according to a set schedule.
- Assist with monitoring supplies, including inventory management and budgeting for purchasing new equipment and cleaning supplies. Provide supplies upon request or as indicated by unit utilization clipboards, ensuring the highest quality of task completion while adhering to safe working practices.
- Foster a positive image by engaging in professional and friendly communication with clients, staff, and guests.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other specified work areas as directed by Lad Lake.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and other equipment.
- Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash in designated areas.
- Operate a personal computer to access email, electronic calendars, and essential office support software, maintaining no more than two (2) hours of office time per week.
- Exercise sound judgment by job responsibilities.
- Assume responsibility for decisions and consequences, escalating customer concerns to management as necessary.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all clients, staff, and guests.
