Direct Support Professional (2nd Shift)
Location: Anderson Twp, Ohio
Hours & Shifts: 2nd Shift. Full and part time hours are available; work hours vary by location
Starting Pay: $16.50/hour with an additional $1.00 shift differential on weekends.

About the Role As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide primary support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, while fostering a teaching relationship that encourages healthy and productive personal growth, community inclusion, creativity, and independence.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Promote and support the appropriate level of independent living; which may include teaching, oversight, and hands-on assistance with the activities of daily living
- Encourage an individual’s engagement in social and community activities as well as appropriate physical/wellness activities
- Ensure an individual’s health and safety needs are being met
- Commit to being part of a team that creates and sustains a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture.
Candidate Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Current and valid driver’s license (with fewer than 6 points) and vehicle insurance
- Ability to pass a background check (includes physical and a drug screen, and criminal check)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
