About the Role The Program Manager will be responsible for the daily oversight and coordination of specific programs giving detailed attention to administrative functions, quality assurance and compliance, and staff management. This specific Program Manager will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of our Community Supported Living program.
Department & Purpose
Programs Responsible for fulfilling LADD’s mission to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live, work and connect; engages directly with developmentally disabled adults and their families based on their prescribed individual needs.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Assists with growing program services and collaborate to ensure the person’s needs are met
- Translates organizational strategy into program activities and goals.
- Monitors and reports program goal progress
- Adapts program operations when changes arises
- Oversees daily program operations
- Appropriately handles people and/or process issues including emergency situations
- Participates in creation of budget and ensures adherence (includes billing and utilization as necessary)
- Reconciles accounts/petty cash/credit cards
- Completes and submits reports accurately and timely
- Ensures staff is properly trained on service delivery and are held accountable for compliance
- Proactively collaborates with all LADD departments and regulatory agencies
- Ensure staff have what they need to deliver excellent/exceptional services to person served
- Leads performance management for direct reports
- Participates in performance management for indirect reports
- Proactively collaborates with the HR team o Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Represents LADD to the public in a positive manner as appropriate
Additional Responsibilities
- Serves as an advocate for the organization’s mission and programs in the community
- Plans and updates activity calendar
- Fills in for staff when necessary
- Attends internal and external meetings and events as necessary
- Responds as the primary contact to rare “off hours” emergencies when necessary
- Hires and trains staff as necessary
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree Preferred. Associates degree in Social Work/business or a related field and a minimum of 2-3 years of management experience or a minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills across diverse individuals and groups
- Demonstrated superior supervisory skills
- Ability to appropriately delegate tasks
- Keeps up-to-date on all relevant training and certifications
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to use a computer and other related office equipment
- Maintain all required certifications
- Valid driver’s license with fewer than six points, and be insured
- Sound risk management decision making
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software application platforms
- Demonstrates adaptability and ability to appropriately problem solve
- Ability and willingness to advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equity at all levels of the organization
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday and may include weekends and/or evenings
- Job will include being in an office environment as well as remote sites; and will require travel to other locations
