- Analyze and synthesize data into a professional narrative history, including tables, charts, and appendices
- Conduct interviews with government officials to gather historical information
- Edit and organize historical documents and transcripts
- Provide historical support and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Ensure all historical documentation is captured and preserved
- Assist in strategic planning, operational problem resolution, and educating government personnel
- Advanced degree in History
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant practical experience
- Professional knowledge of historical principles, concepts, research sources, methodology, and techniques
- Familiarity with a broad range of related historical fields, including modern military history, strategic deterrence theory, and post-World War II defense policy
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Nuclear Command and Control-Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI)
