Job Title: Valet Parking Attendant

Duties:
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff while providing courteous and professional valet parking services.
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS).
- Issue valet claim tickets, secure keys, and manage orderly vehicle placement in designated parking areas.
- Assist disabled individuals and those with mobility needs by handling wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean valet area, ensuring all equipment and booths are organized and presentable.
- Enforce a strict NO TIPPING policy, as indicated by facility signage.
- Report vehicle damage, incidents, or safety concerns.
- Ensure that vehicle wait times do not exceed 10 minutes for parking or retrieval.
- Participate in monthly meetings to discuss valet operations and service improvements.
Requirements:
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in valet services, parking operations, or customer service.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
