Duties:
- Conduct twice-monthly unannounced inspections at the Albany Field Office (AFO) to evaluate security guard performance and compliance with contract requirements.
- Serve as the primary local point of contact for operational issues, ensuring seamless communication with government representatives.
- Supervise, train, and coordinate security staff, ensuring all personnel adhere to appearance, conduct, and performance standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, highlighting deficiencies and proposing corrective actions within two days of each inspection.
- Implement corrective actions promptly to address any identified security issues or performance gaps.
- Assign and arrange replacements for guards in cases of unscheduled absences or emergencies, ensuring uninterrupted security coverage.
- Maintain records of staff schedules, inspections, and incident responses for auditing and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in security or a related field.
- Familiarity with New York state security guard licensing and operational regulations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability to respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis and provide immediate solutions.
- Ability to conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs as needed.
