JOB TITLE : Trauma Combat Care Instructor

LOCATION : Eglin AFB, 96th medical treatment campus, FL

DUTIES :

Coordinate field trauma training in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to training in trauma care, quality and cost effectiveness.
The required outcome result is to enable the EMT / TC3 Educator to react quickly and efficiently to real world emergency situations, when encountered with obstacles, by using the tools available in the performance measures.
Assist in the development of the Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA).

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS :

Shall possess knowledge of medical privacy and confidentiality (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and accreditation standards of Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, The Joint Commission, and Clinical Practice Guidelines.

General medical ethics, telephone etiquette and excellent communication and customer services skills.

Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and coordinate activities such as appointments, meetings, and suspense timelines.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and edit written and electronic correspondence and reports.
