Position Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing the upkeep and functionality of our community, ensuring it remains a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, managing a team, and ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality are upheld.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Oversee routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety, compliance with codes and regulations, and proactive identification of maintenance needs.
Prioritize and delegate work orders, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of all tasks.
Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of equipment and systems.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support community events or initiatives.
Ensure the community’s curb appeal is maintained through landscaping, snow removal, and exterior upkeep.
Promote and uphold a culture of safety by ensuring all maintenance activities comply with company policies and safety protocols.
Foster a spirit of "unreasonable hospitality" by engaging with residents, guests, and staff in a friendly, respectful, and service-oriented manner.

Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
