Description :
Full time teaching position. It is a public school position that contributes to TRS. The special education teacher will be responsible for implementing the IEPs for students in a self-contained classroom structured for students with autism. The teacher will be a member of a team, including a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, social worker, and paraeducators.

Qualifications :
Must have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License, endorsed for special education teaching. Experience with students with autism is required. Knowledge of communication, behavior and sensory interventions preferred.
