We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping with kitchen organization.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking or catering experience, is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
