Job Summary
The Door Person plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the premises while providing exceptional customer service to guests and visitors. This position involves monitoring access points, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and acting as a first line of defense against unauthorized entry. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Duties

• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals gain access to the premises.
• Conduct regular surveillance of the area using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activities.
• Assist guests with inquiries, providing directions and information about the facility.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, utilizing CPR and first aid skills as necessary.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while managing conflicts or difficult situations effectively.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required, ensuring accurate reporting of incidents.
• Keep detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches for review.

Skills

• Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention methods.
• Knowledgeable in CPR and first aid; certification is preferred.
• Experience in law enforcement or security roles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and conflict management strategies.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $15.49 - $18.33 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
