Position: PRN Phlebotomist in Laboratory Purpose: Provide skilled venipuncture services for all patients and assist the medical technologist in processing samples and information. Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent. Training in venipuncture.
- Exposure to laboratory instrumentation and quality control practices
- Computer and word processing skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Able to work all shifts.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Possesses positive customer service skills.
- Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 25% of the day.
- Employee will be sitting 10% of the day.
- Employee will be standing and walking 45% of the day.
- Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 10% of the day.
- Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
