Estimator

We are currently seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. If you have a strong background in cost estimation, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Analyze architectural drawings and project documents to determine the scope and requirements of potential projects.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for time, labor, and materials.
• Utilize electronic estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify project details.
• Review and evaluate historical data to enhance the accuracy of estimates.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather additional project information.
• Ensure all estimates align with company standards, industry best practices, and client expectations.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of materials, labor costs, and project data.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role, preferably within construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with electronic estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) is a significant advantage.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry-specific materials, labor, and construction methods.
• Certification or training in cost estimation or construction management is a plus.

Environmental Conditions:

• Office-based work, with site visits requiring adherence to safety standards.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and environmental conditions during site visits.
