What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer (part-time, on-call) position at Lafayette College?
Lafayette College is currently looking to fill part-time Security Officer Positions. Responsibilities involve community compliance with College policy, Federal, State and local laws on campus and patrolling campus facilities and grounds on foot, bicycle and vehicle. Assists Campus Police Officers as necessary and perform personnel related security tasks. Works on-call, filling in as needed, including nights/weekends. Excellent pay with premium rate paid for all holidays worked.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license. Experience/training in security/safety or law enforcement preferred. Act 235 Lethal Weapons Training or the ability to be certified and community policing and training in de-escalation a plus.
