Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repairs of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC system checks, and minor repairs
- Troubleshoot issues with mechanical and electrical systems
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Supervise and coordinate work of outside contractors when necessary
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Fabricate parts to complete repairs when needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues
- Electrical skills for working with various systems
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus
- Experience in residential painting is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
