You will be one of the first people patients meet in the office, so you must be able to make a good first impression. We want someone who is outgoing, fun, and easy to talk to. If you have a temper, this job is not for you. You must be compassionate as well, because often people are not necessarily excited to be going to the dentist.
You must be good with computers and navigating dental software. We are a fully digital office, so computer skills are a must!
You will be expected to work Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:00, plus one Friday a month with the same hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the dental office, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage patient scheduling, confirming appointments and handling cancellations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process patient payments and manage insurance claims.
- Verify insurance benefits.
- Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations and enhance patient experience.
- As needed, help with seating patients, taking medical histories, setting up instruments, cleaning treatment rooms, and sterilizing instruments.
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you. We work as a team in this office!
