Lafayette Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Group in Lafayette, Indiana is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Oral Surgery team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice. We are open to consider professionals that are new to the dental industry and experienced surgical tech/dental assistants as well.
Requirements:- High School Diploma
- Interest in the dental industry and oral surgery practice
- Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting preferred
- Assist the Oral Surgeon during procedures, including tooth extractions and dental implants, while recording doctor notes and vital signs.
- Prepare treatment rooms, take high-quality dental x-rays, and follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Review and accurately document patient health histories, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and support for a comfortable experience.
- Perform office management tasks using practice software and maintain a professional, patient-focused approach.

- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Wednesday depending on oral surgery schedule) No weekends or major holidays
