What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Lafayette Pain Care?
Lafayette Pain Care is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team who has a strong work ethic, enjoys working with other team members and loves the medical office environment. Lafayette Pain Care places a focus on interventional pain management while treating our patients . We have an opening in our Kokomo Office. This position will require you to travel, with our providers to one or more of offices in Logansport, Winamac, Lafayette and our Marion office . We are looking for a candidate with medical experience , great time management skills, and computer knowledge. The Medical Assistant will work closely with our physicians & mid-levels which includes scribing and entering notes in the electronic medical record system. We will train the right candidate to scribe. Medical experience is required.
SCRIBING is essential for this position and you must be very competent in listening skills, typing skills and use of English language.
Understanding Spanish and speaking Spanish is a plus!
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated competencies and includes travel time pay and mileage reimbursement.
